English Synopsis: Lā Launa Pū is a biannual event that provides a venue for students, instructors and Hawaiian Language faculty to practice, strengthen and perpetuate the Hawaiian Language outside of the classroom. Participants take part in various activities like Makahiki games, song and music, conversation, storytelling and various activities and

cultural events. These activities are all done in Hawaiian Language. The event is usually held on John Henry Wise Field (Bachman Lawn).
